Nov. 25
th    Decorate for Christmas---We will start at the Community Center at 3 PM then       head to Taylor Hall. After all decorating is done, we will have a Pizza Party.  Come join us and get into the holiday spirit.

Proposed changes to the bylaws

Article III-Section 1-Officers----Delete 6 months. Make the change read-Any person running for office must be a dues paying member.
Section2-Terms of Office----Add- A term of office is 1 year.
Section 5-Board of Directors--Add-no less than. Have it read-The Board of Directors shall consist of no less than 7 members.
Article IV-Section 2-Election- delete- after the nominations have been closed.

October Events

Oct. 1- We are having our monthly meeting after the Corporation Meeting at 6:30 with coffee and cookies following. We will meet after the break.

Oct. 6- Coffee and donuts 9 AM at Taylor Hall. Come visit and see who has come back south.
 
Oct.11-Taylor Hall- Come get a sign between 1 and 3 PM and give $5 to help defray advertising for the Garage Sale. Let us know if you want a table at Taylor Hall. Voices for Children will have a table, if you would like to donate an item or two please call Kathie @ xxx-xxxx.

Oct.12 & 13--Garage Sale and Bakery Sale (Thank you Foxy Ladies for the Bake Sale). 8 AM to 3 PM

Oct.20-Taylor Hall-Oktoberfest-Let's get together and enjoy harvest time. Dinner prices are $4.00 for members and $5.00 for non-members. Buy your tickets at Taylor Hall on Oct 6 & 7 or Oct 13 & 14 between 3:00 and 5:00 PM. Social time is 5:30 PM with dinner at 6:00 PM. Menu: Sausage, Sauerkraut, German Potato Salad, Cheesy Beer Soup, Apple Cake Coffee, Iced Tea, Beer for sale. Bring a Beer Mug. Prize for the neatest one, 50/50 Raffle and Door Prizes.

Oct.27-Community Center-Halloween Party by Christie Morrow. Christie is sponsoring a Halloween Party for the residents. 7-10 PM. Wear a costume if you would like.

Donna & Lonnie are putting together their Halloween Walk in Momma's Garden. Between Lots 103 and 105.

July 1st – Can still buy tickets for the 4th of July picnic. Joann Potts will be at Taylor Hall from 3-5PM $4 for members $5 for non-members.



July 4th – Picnic at Taylor Hall. 5PM meet and greet 5:30 dinner. Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Potato Salad, Cole Slaw, potato chips and relish dish. Coffee, Hot and Cold Tea and your table service will be provided.



July 7th – Come for Coffee and donuts at 9AM, Taylor Hall. Always a good time.



July 14th – Ice Cream Social 2PM at the Community Center



Aug 4th - Come for Coffee and donuts at 9AM, Taylor Hall.



Aug 11th – Ice Cream Social 2PM at Community Center.



Aug 18th Pot Luck Brunch at Taylor Hall. Table service and drinks provided. Come share your favorite recipe with everyone. 10AM Taylor Hall

May 5th Kaffee Klatch at 9 AM in Taylor Hall, come enjoy some coffee and donuts with your neighbors and friends.





May 5th Kentucky Derby , Come watch the Running of the Horses at the Community Center.


May 7th  Last meeting till Sept. but maybe the most important one. 7 PM, come early for coffee and........... Someone from Century Link and American Cable are coming to speak to us about a package deal for phone, TV and Internet. Bright House (Paul Eldridge) said to call him (386-314-4091), he has a $107 deal for all those who call him.




May 12th Ice Cream Social, 2 PM at the Community Center This will happen the second Saturday of every month till fall.

April 13th & 14th Community Garage Sale----9 AM to 3 PM April 12th Register and get your sign ($5) at Taylor Hall 12 PM to 2 PM or call Kathie (xxx-xxxx) or Carol (xxx-xxxx). Will be advertised in the local paper. You can be at your home, at the Community Center or Taylor Hall. Foxy Ladies will have a Bake Sale in Taylor Hall









April 21st Cook Out at Taylor Hall serving inside at 3PM. $4 Members $5 Non-members Tickets at Taylor Hall on April 7th, 8th, 14th and 15th from 3 PM to 5PM. March 24th-Breakfast Brunch at 10 AM in Taylor Hall
Bring a dish to pass and a place setting. Also bring an index card with the recipe for your dish. We have many great dishes for which we would like the recipe . We will have a way of displaying them and paper and pencil for those who would like to write it down.


Let's get ready for an April Garage Sale. $5 for a sign and advertising. It will be April 13th and 14th.


Keep an eye on the bulletin boards for extra events.
Taylor Hall will be closed for a Memorial Service on March 25th from 1-6 PM for Joana Yusishen.
Community Center will be closed for a Private Party on March 10th from 4-8 PM.


Want to Thank all who attended the Super Bowl, Valentines Party and Mardi Gras. Everyone had a good time and a special Thank You for those who helped set up and clean up.

Feb. 4th Kaffee Klatch at 9 AM in Taylor Hall. Join your neighbors and have an old fashioned gabfest and catch up with what's happening.

Feb. 5th at 6 PM Super Bowl XLVI Party. Kickoff is 6:30. Bring a dish and your favorite drinks. Join your friends for a good game.


Feb. 6th FSO Meeting---7 PM at the Community Center. Come early for cookies and coffee.

Feb. 10th---Valentines Dinner Dance, 6 PM at the Community Center. The Rainbow Connection will be playing for your listening pleasure. Menu will be Chicken Cordon Bleu, Wild Rice, Veg., Salad and Dessert, Coffee and Tea . Tickets will be sold Jan. 28th and 29th at Taylor Hall 3-5 PM and Feb. 4th and 5th 3-5 PM at Taylor Hall. $6 for non-members; $5 for members. If you have been married for 50+ years, pay for one ticket get the second one free. We have a list of anniversaries.

Feb. 19th Mardi Gras Party at the Community Center at 6 PM. Bring a dish and your favorite drinks.



The Community Center will be closed for a private function on Feb. 11th from 2-10 PM and Feb. 22nd from 12 till 4 PM.


I told you it would be a busy month. Now you have an assignment for next month - find your green for the "Wearin’ of the Green" Celebration.
